Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch is a seasoned political leader, eye specialist, and visionary reformist who served as the 21st Chief Minister of Balochistan from 2013 to 2015 — becoming the first non-tribal leader to hold this position. Born in Turbat, Makran, and a member of the Hooth tribe, Dr. Baloch has dedicated his life to democratic values, social justice, and provincial development.
He began his political journey with the Baloch Students Organization and co-founded the Balochistan National Movement, which later merged into the National Party. As President of the National Party since 2008, he has consistently advocated for education, healthcare reform, and provincial autonomy. During his tenure in various ministerial roles — including Health, Education, and Planning — and later as Chief Minister, he worked to root out corruption, reduce violence, and upgrade infrastructure across Balochistan.
Dr. Baloch remains a key voice for peace, democratic governance, and equitable development in Pakistan.
